Proposal Structure

Prerequisites

To submit a proposal on-chain, MVCer need to have a Space wallet address holding at least 0.2% vSpace governance coin. If not, consider delegating your votes to a delegate or committee member who can create a proposal on your behalf.

Proposal Structure / Template:

  1. Name of the proposal: Briefly introduce the proposal and its purpose

  2. Executive Summary: A concise overview of your proposal. This should be a brief snapshot of what you're proposing and why it's important.

  3. Key Terms: Define any unique or industry-specific terms used in your proposal. This helps ensure everyone is on the same page.

  4. Specifications:

Motivation: Explain why this proposal is necessary and beneficial to the MVC community. This is your chance to convince the community of the value of your proposal.

For Builder Proposals:

  • What are we trying to build on top of MVC network. What is the use case?

For exposure growth proposals Proposals:

  • How will a grant help you increase the number of users interacting with MVC?

  • Provide a detailed plan of how you envision this grant leading to increased user interactions with MVC.

  1. Project Links: Include any relevant links to your project, such as demos, websites, social media, community platforms, and technical/economic documentation.

  2. Implementation Plan: Outline the steps to implement the proposal, including associated costs, manpower, and other resources. If your proposal involves transactions with third parties, ensure to include applicable legal documentation and procedures.

  3. Timeline: Provide a detailed timeline, including start date, milestones, and completion dates.

  4. Overall Cost - Grant Request: Specify the size of the grant request and justify why this amount is necessary.

  5. Space as Rewards Confirmation: Confirm whether payment by native coin 'Space' is accepted. If not, please specify your preferred payment method.
